इस विधि से कड़ाई पनीर बनाने में आपको 30 मिनट से 1 घंटे का समय लगेगा। कड़ाई पनीर बनाने की विधि इस प्रकार है - तो कड़ाई पनीर बनाने के लिए सबसे पहले पनीर को चौकोर शेप में काट लें।

अब आप शिमला मिर्च को छोटे-छोटे टुकड़ों में काट लें। अब आप एक बर्तन में एक कप पानी डालें और उसमें टमाटर डालकर 4-5 मिनट तक उबाल लें। टमाटर उबलने के बाद इनका छिलका उतार कर काट लें।

अब एक पैन या किसी बर्तन में तेल डालकर मध्यम आंच पर गरम होने के लिए रखें। जब यह तेल गरम हो जाए तो इसमें तड़के के लिए जीरा डालकर भूनें।
अब इसमें अदरक और लहसुन डालें और आंच धीमी करके एक मिनट तक भूनें।

अब आपको इसमें उबले हुए टमाटर डालकर तेज आंच पर 2 मिनट तक भूनें। टमाटर को अच्छी पकायें ताकि यह गल जायें।
जब टमाटर पक जायें तो इसमें धनिया पाउडर , लाल मिर्च पाउडर और नमक डालकर 1 मिनट तक भूनें।

भूनने के बाद इसे 1 मिनट तक ढ़ककर पकायें। यह करने से मसाले अच्छे से पक जायेंगे और अच्छी खुशबू आने लगेगी। इस मसाले को धीमी आंच पर पकायें।

अब बर्तन का ढक्कन हटाकर आंच तेज करें। अब इसमें शिमला मिर्च डालकर 2 मिनट तक पकाने के बाद इस ग्रेवी में पनीर के टुकड़े डाल दीजिए। अब इसे 2-3 मिनट तक चलाते हुए पकाएं।

इसके बाद इस ग्रेवी में कड़ाही पनीर मसाला, गरम मसाला और कसूरी मेथी डालकर अच्छी तरह मिला लअब 2 मिनट तक चलाते हुए पकाने के बाद आंच बंद कर दें और धनियापत्ती डालकर कुछ देर के लिए इसे ढ़क कर दें।
